Welcome to the APDA Anne Arundel County Parkinson's Support Group. Our next scheduled meeting is Tuesday, March 24th, at 12:00 noon.
During the first part of our meeting, Raul Eusantos from Medtronic will discuss Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS), a procedure used to help Parkinson’s patients with tremors, slowed movement, and walking problems. After his presentation, we will have a Q & A session to address any issues you might have regarding DBS.
Afterward, we will break out into groups for patients and caregivers. This is your opportunity to share your personal concerns and experiences regarding Parkinson’s as well as other pertinent issues. As usual, we will provide beverages for the meeting. Members and guests can bring a brown bag lunch for themselves, if they wish, or any bakery that they would like to share with the group. The DBS presentation will begin promptly at 12:15.
NOTE: We follow AA County school policy on inclement weather. If school is delayed or closed for the day, we will not have a meeting.
